The Fairfax County Park Authority’s Summer Entertainment Series features popular concerts, children’s shows and outdoor movies in 11 local series. Under the One Fairfax Social & Racial Equity policy, high-quality acts are held at 17 venues across Fairfax County. These series are accessible and provide important connections for the community.

In 2024, 40,000+ attendees enjoyed 4 outdoor movies, 196 free live performances by outstanding local and national touring groups. With such diversity of genres, the FCPA Summer Entertainment Series has something for everyone.  Let’s keep the good vibes going into 2025!

Performances are held outdoors and are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. So, pack a picnic basket, umbrella, blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy evenings of music in the parks, as well as Arts in the Parks Saturday and Wednesday morning shows just for children! Call the HOTLINE at 703-324-SHOW (7469) one hour before the start of the show for rain cancellations. A complete schedule of all performances can be found at the Summer Entertainment Series website.
