Fairfax County Park Authority welcomes leashed dogs in all parks. Owners and well-socialized canines may use Park Authority operated Dog Parks, designated fence-enclosed areas where unleashed dogs can enjoy free play.

The FCPA Dog Park Study was conducted to assess needs and priorities for dog parks throughout the county, and to adopt strategies for long-term planning, development, and management of dog parks.
