The 2019 Fairfax County Park Authority Discovery Trail Map program celebrated the 50th anniversary of man's giant leap from Earth to the Moon. Participants visited distinctive park sites and learned about their connection to transportation through history. The program led to more than 18,000 FCPA park visits!

Those who visited 8 out of twelve selected parks were entered to win one of the four custom-fitted bicycles and helmets donated by Spokes, Etc. and Trek through the Fairfax County Park Foundation. 1,300 individuals qualified for the bike drawing.  The winners of the 2019 Discovery Trail Map bike drawing were selected on September 25, 2019.
