Thomas Chennikara is an independent consultant with an engineering background, executive management experience, international exposure and a passion for social enterprise and sustainable practices. Thomas is also currently an angel investor/mentor with certain early stage ventures in Information Technology, Education and Clean-Technology.

Prior to this, as a principal of CSS Corporation, which he co-founded in 1996, he guided the company through the development process, recruited key technical resources and mentored global IT teams through the organization’s growth phase. He devised and developed several software products and frameworks that became core intellectual property assets of the company.

Thomas holds a Masters in Technology Management from the George Mason University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering in Trivandrum, India.

Thomas lives in Fairfax Station, VA with his wife and three children. He and his family frequent the Burke Lake Park near his home.
