For DMV Realtor® Robin Walker, owning a home is a foundational part of the American Dream. Her mission? To help every client achieve it.
A spirited entrepreneur with a knack for helping others discover a space’s true potential, Robin found real estate after watching her own children struggle to navigate the market in the face of soaring prices and fierce competition. Robin, a born problem-solver, decided to address the issue head-on by getting licensed and becoming a Realtor® herself. Today, Robin is the trusted advisor her family, friends, and clients all turn to when making the momentous decision to buy or sell as part of The Greater Capital Area Team of Compass.
In life, Robin believes that putting your passion first gives you the power to translate “your story into something bigger ― something that matters.” When it comes to real estate, what matters to Robin is empowering every client to dream big and invest wisely in a brighter future that’s theirs for the taking. She accomplishes this through high-touch, personalized customer service and by being there for her clients 24/7. Known for actively seeking feedback from her buyers and sellers, Robin is a proud lifelong learner who wakes up each day with a renewed drive to be the absolute best Realtor she can be. Having lived in the DMV area for 40 years, Robin knows the region’s cultural, environmental, and social composition like the back of her hand. She loves helping others discover what makes her community such a special place to call home — from Arlington to Great Falls to Reston, where she resides today.
Robin is the founder, artist and lead designer of Robin Walker Designs, founded in 2010, specializing in print graphics, social media and e-marketing. Her work includes support of numerous non-profit and charitable initiatives including the McLean 5K Family Fun Run; CharityWorks Dream Ball; FCPA’s Green Spring Gardens 50th Anniversary Moon Gate Giving Tree fundraiser; Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce program guides and FCPF’s Legacy Circle brochure. Robin actively serves on the Park Foundation Board of Directors to enrich Fairfax County parks.
When she’s not working for her clients, you can find Robin spending time with her children, gardening, cooking, watercolor painting, cycling on the W&OD, skiing, and sampling new restaurants across the DMV. Other go-to pursuits of hers include participating in local clubs and jetting off on new adventures with family and friends!
